Located in Salamanca Place, near Hobart’s waterfront, Salamanca Arts Centre houses a variety of artist studios, galleries, venues, retail outlets, arts organisations and public spaces. In the Sidespace gallery, there is an exhibition for professional artists to display their work. There’s a contemporary space called SOCIAL that frequently hosts exhibitions, workshops, artist talks and presentations. Every Friday evening there is live music in the Courtyard.
